Synopsis

The Machine, a short film from Indoctrinate U director Evan Coyne Maloney, illustrates how public sector unions corrupt politicians, pick taxpayers’ pockets, and make it nearly impossible to hold teachers and other government employees accountable.

This short film shows how American taxpayers, by subsidizing public sector unions and the politicians who support them, are being compelled to fund "the machine"—which, in turn, leads to the perpetual growth of unions and big government.

In the midst of a massive budget deficit and out-of-control government spending, Americans are greatly concerned about the future of our economy. They want to know where their tax dollars are going. They want to see transparency and accountability.

"The Machine" exposes an entrenched political system, showing how our tax dollars are really spent—and revealing the urgent need for reform.
