The Machine

Synopsis

The Machine is a short film from Evan Coyne Maloney (Indoctrinate U, Hating Breitbart) that illustrates how public-sector unions corrupt politicians, pick taxpayers’ pockets, and make it nearly impossible to hold teachers and other government employees accountable. With captivating graphics and narration, the film explains how American taxpayers unwittingly fund “the machine” by subsidizing public-sector unions and the politicians who support them – leading to the perpetual growth of unions and big government. In the midst of a massive budget deficit and out-of-control government spending, Americans have serious concerns about our economy. The Machine, exposes an entrenched political system, showing how American tax dollars are really spent – and revealing the urgent need for reform. Official Film Website

“It's worth taking a look at the deeper dynamics of K-12 public education, a system whose weakest participants – students – are the very people the system is supposed to serve. Watch The Machine...”—Nick Gillespie, Reason.com
