Andrew Breitbart's Big Hollywood blog launches today--and promises to be a clearing house for new perspectives and sharp commentary on Hollywood. Breitbart lays out his goals in a Washington Times op-ed--and already the site has drawn notice from CNN, Fox News, the Weekly Standard, and elsewhere. Check it out.
Congratulations to MPI fellow Evan Coyne Maloney, whose hip and hard-hitting documentary about intolerance on campus is an official selection of the 2009 New York International Independent Film & Video Festival. The festival will take place from March 19-26, in New York City, and will feature film and video from countries around the world. Keep an eye on nyfilmvideo.com for screening details and schedules.
MPI fellow and Indoctrinate U director and star Evan Coyne Maloney has just released a new short film on taxes. Maloney brings his signature charm to this eight-minute short, which went live on YouTube two days ago--and has already been downloaded nearly 8,000 times. Check it out.
