Are you a high school or college student with a knack for film--and a love for liberty? If you are, consider entering the new Cato on Campus YouTube Contest:
The purpose of this contest is to encourage students to combine creativity with new technology to develop short videos that promote liberty and identify libertarian students with the passion and skills to take the message of liberty into the 21st century. Each month, Cato on Campus will highlight the best YouTube video submitted by a student that deals with liberty. If your video is featured on Cato on Campus, you will automatically receive a free Cato book. As well, the creator of the YouTube Video of the Year, selected in April, will receive a full scholarship to the 2009 Cato University at Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego, CA (which covers room, board and tuition).
Entry guidelines are available at CatoCampus.org/contestyoutube. A new award is given every month--so the contest is essentially continuously open.
