Do As I Say premieres Tuesday, April 28, at the Newport Beach Film Festival--and if you are anywhere near Southern California, you should take the afternoon off from work and go. Here's what people are already saying about the film:
--I saw an early screener of the film, and I thought it was great. I can't wait to see the final cut. Like Nick Tucker's other films, this one also weaves drama and humor, documentary and entertainment. I love that he gives Michael Moore a taste of his own medicine. The hypocrisies that are exposed in this documentary are truly mind blowing. Great film!--Wow! The movie brings the book to life, brings so much vigor to the information, and adds humor in the midst of the issues. Just as things get tense, as you feel the weight of the hypocrisy pressing down on you, a touch of humor shows the absurdity of the political realm.
--This film is equally funny and infuriating. I was chuckling as much as I was shaking my head in disgust. Extremely entertaining and enlightening, and never a dull moment (unlike most doc films). It's so cheeky and smart. Love it.
--High on production value, low on bias. Seriously. You'd think at first blush that it might pander to one side of the political aisle, but watch it and judge for yourself. And besides, the humor alone will make it worth your while. Check it out.
