The Battle of Brooklyn, MPI's film about the clashing of real estate developers, local government, and anti-eminent domain activists over the Atlantic Yards land development project in Brooklyn, was featured last Friday at the Kickstarter Film Festival -- in Brooklyn! Kickstarter.com chose the top twelve most creative and successful films out of the over 5,000 projects listed on their site, and The Battle of Brooklyn was one of the chosen few. Yancey Strickler of Kickstarter.com said they chose "some of the first [projects] to stun us with their passion and creativity."
