2081

SYNOPSIS

2081 is a star-studded adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's short story "Harrison Bergeron." The film is set in a dystopian future where everyone is "equal every which way." In this stifling world, a Handicapper General goes to enormous lengths to punish individualism. 2081 stars Armie Hammer (The Social Network, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) and features an original score performed by the world-renowned Kronos Quartet (Requiem for a Dream). Narrated by Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson (Goodnight and Good Luck), 2081 co-stars James Cosmo (Braveheart, Trainspotting) and Julie Hagerty (Airplane!). 2081 is available for free classroom streaming.
